I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time to visit our website. Cambodian Ministries for Christ International (CMC) is an organization that is led by Cambodian pastors from many different evangelical denominations.

Amazing things are happening in my country, the home of the infamous “killing fields.” When I first returned to Cambodia in the summer of 1989, after attending the Lausanne Congress in Manila the Christian church still had to meet in secret. Today, believers in Cambodia have the legal right to meet, and they are doing so. Today there are more than 60 churches in the city of Phnom Penh and the surrounding area, with the same thing happening in Battambang, the second largest city.

While all of us who are working to help fulfill the Great Commission among Cambodians are heartened by the recent growth, we are also concerned. Cambodia has always been one of the least-reached countries for Christ, with a great percentage of citizens who have not been reached with the gospel. Because the church has always been so small, and because so many of our leaders were killed during the Khmer Rouge holocaust, we have very few leaders or leadership training programs for our churches.

CMC has set as one of our highest priorities the support, encouragement, and training of national Cambodian pastors and leaders. We are stepping out to work on this priority, but our resources are limited. We deeply appreciate your taking the time to read through our web site, and to consider being a partner with us in these vital ministries.
